The best advertising campaigns

Advertising accompanies almost any product or service today, and there are a number of shining examples of advertisements that are memorable.

Coca-Cola

The genius here lies in the fact that the brand has touched upon traditions, mores and customs all at once. And in doing so, the associative space of the brand has been activated.

With the arrival of the new year, the idea that the holiday is coming to us immediately comes to mind, and everyone remembers the Coca-Cola commercials.

This is truly a genius move to adjust to the main holiday expected by all people, make associations with your own brand and organize everything correctly.

Nike – Just do it

In 1980s there was a big fight between Nike and Reebok, at that time the latter was outmaneuvering the competition. But it provoked Nike to action. The company’s management decided that it needed a new, memorable slogan, and it was invented just a day before the presentation. So not only in Russia everything is decided on the last day.

In fact the story behind the creation of this slogan was a bit strange, as the head of an advertising company was impressed by the words of a criminal, a murderer to be precise. After imposing the death sentence, the criminal said Let’s Do it.

It’s very epic because the man is destined to die and he says let’s do it. Usually it’s tears, but there was power in this act, and as early as 1988 a new commercial appeared on screens. The following year the company progressed significantly and has held the lead for the last 10 years.

Example of Successful Advertising Companies

Red-bull and the stratospheric jump

The main character in the commercial is Felix Baumgartner, who immediately set three world records.

  1. The free-fall speed reached 1342 km/h.
  2. The jump from a height of 39,045 metres.
  3. A freefall of 36,402 metres.

And in doing so, 8 million viewers watched the event on YouTube.

Game of Thrones and Starbucks

A new episode of the hit series appeared and viewers noticed a paper cup of Starbucks, either by accident or on purpose caught in the frame.

Of course, the producers said it was a cinematic gaffe. It happens and it is not clear how it got there. The scene was reshot and uploaded to the website. But really, it’s very strange that no one noticed such a mistake while filming the most expensive show.

Tide stole a commercial

There’s a Super Bowl in the US, it’s the US finals of American football. And it’s a significant event for the population, as the 2018 final drew 165 million viewers.

Of course, every company is trying to get on the channels, but at least 30 seconds of airtime can cost €5 million.

And it was on this day that Tide released its own ads, while stealing ads from other brands. The bottom line is that different commercials were combined in one project – classic commercials, but David Harbour appeared at the end and said it was a Tide commercial.

Raffaello

Advertising lately has been all about humour, erotica and deviant behaviour. But research has found that empathy works an order of magnitude better, hooking viewers harder.

And as an example, a rafaelo commercial, where the commercial gained almost 7 million views, is a case in point.

The second commercial broke the previous record with 19.5 million views. They’re heartwarming, and that’s what’s so special about them.
